Radio Opera Workshop

Radio Opera Workshop is a scalable intermedia chamber ensemble established to perform the radio operas of Yvette Janine Jackson.  The ensemble debuted as part of the Fromm Players Concerts curated by Vijay Iyer (originally planned as a live concert in April 2020 and reimagined as a video composition, The Coding, in 2021), featuring Tia Fuller, Judith Hamann, Yvette Janine Jackson, Davindar Singh, Esperanza Spalding, Rajna Swaminathan, and Taiga Ultan.

The Radio Opera Workshop gave its live debut at the Venice Music Biennale on September 20, 2022. The ensemble featured Tommy Babin, Amy Cimini, Joy Guidry, Judith Hamann, and Malesha Jessie Taylor in the premiere of Left Behind.

The U.S. premiere is planned for spring 2023.
